The AC Milan striker, Divock Origi, is definitely not part of Fonseca's plans. The Belgian player, once a hero for the liverpool fans, is now an outcast as he does not train with the team at Milanello.
He has arrived at Milan in the summer of 2022, after their Scudetto triumph in the previous season, and he was looking to relaunch his career. However, he could not manage to earn the trust of the club and the former coach, Stefano Pioli due to physical problems and poor performances on the field.
While on loan with Nottingham Forest in 2023, he did not manage to turn things around. Now, he is back in Milan's squad, but not for long.
According to the well-known Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, the Rossoneri club has given Divock Origi the green light to leave Milan on a free transfer, despite having a valid contract until the summer of 2026.
The ex Lille striker will certainly be leaving: the current options are in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, or some MLS clubs who may be interested for January's transfer window. A clearer picture is expected in the coming weeks.
According to Transfermarkt data, the 29-year-old right-footed centre-forward is valued at just 5 million euros.
