Il Corriere dello Sport newspaper headlined this morning:
"Rabiot for Milan, the last temptation."
Adrien Rabiot is still without a team after his contract with Juventus expired on June 30. Over the summer, his name was often linked to the Rossoneri, and even yesterday, there were contacts between the parties to try to bring the Frenchman to Milanello.
A departure, however, is needed first; otherwise, there’s no space on the roster for the former Juventus player.
According to the Italian newspaper today, there was a contact between Milan and Rabiot yesterday morning, where a contract worth 5 million euros net per season plus bonuses was offered.
Another contact took place in the evening to continue discussing the terms of the agreement between the Rossoneri and the Frenchman.
Being a free agent, the former Juventus player can be signed even after the transfer market has closed.
