Fabio Capello, former coach of Roma and Milan among others, analyzed the league after three rounds in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, taking advantage of the first international break.
He started with two coaches he knows well:
"Two courageous coaches, Motta and De Rossi. One left out Danilo, last year's captain; he didn't use Chiesa; he relied on young players he had coached during preseason and already demonstrated tactical awareness. The other left out Dybala because he was looking for a certain type of balance. And he found it."
Capello continued:
"Inter is the most ready, the most complete team for the Scudetto, and the most well-established in terms of the system of play. The toughest challenge for Inzaghi will be squad rotation. Beware of the mistake he made against Benfica when he changed more than half the team: you change two or three players, at most. To make better use of Vlahovic's talents, something more is needed from the wingers. So, those who were sitting on the bench on Sunday, like Conceição and Nico Gonzalez, should step up."
Regarding what happened at Milan on Saturday, Capello added:
"Theo and Leao were stomping their feet, like children throwing tantrums. It's fine for the club to speak up, but if Fonseca wants to maintain control of the team, he must resolve it himself and get the players to follow him."
