The issue of the stadium for Milan and Inter is still on hold, whether to renovate San Siro or choose another location, despite the Rossoneri having already purchased land in San Donato some time ago.
According to Corriere dello Sport, as the moment of the final decision approaches, the dialectical clashes between key political figures, such as Mayor Sala and San Donato, led by Mayor Squeri, are increasing.
One of the hottest topics, as the source specifies, is that of local police: San Donato doesn't have enough personnel to support the intervention that a Milan match would require and, consequently, would need the help of Milan’s police, which Sala is unwilling to relocate from Milan.
In the meantime, the Italian newspaper continues, the Public Works Councilor of San Donato has announced the possibility of quadrupling the rail line in the stadium area. To implement this option, collaboration with Milan will be necessary.
