This morning, Corriere dello Sport commented on the absence of Ismael Bennacer. The Algerian midfielder left Algeria's training camp early after suffering an injury during practice.
Initial tests conducted in his home country suggest a third-degree calf injury, but everything will need to be confirmed through further instrumental tests that the player will undergo in the next few hours in Milan.
If the severity of the injury is confirmed, the Rossoneri midfielder could be sidelined for about three months, which would clearly affect Fonseca’s available options. The club, however, is focusing on the young talents of Milan Futuro, which is why Corriere dello Sport headlines this morning:
"Bennacer out. Green Milan, Vos or Zeroli."
No Rabiot or other free agents for Fonseca's Milan. The club, in fact, is looking for in-house solutions.
Silvano Vos, recently arrived from the Ajax youth academy, he has already made an impression after just 45 minutes against Carpi: he can play in Serie A but not in the Champions League. Who will be available for both competitions is Kevin Zeroli, captain of Milan Futuro.
