The Mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala, spoke on the sidelines of the presentation of the redevelopment of the former Marchiondi Institute, making some statements regarding the San Siro facility and the possibility of having two nearby stadiums.
Here are his words, reported by Calcio e Finanza:
“We are trying to speed up with the Revenue Agency to have definitive values, which would be the values to put up for tender, both for the San Siro structure and the surrounding areas. Two stadiums? Before saying that it’s a solid hypothesis, I want to be sure, because I understand that citizens might feel disoriented by the many hypotheses we’ve put forward."
Mayor Sala continued:
"At this moment, we need to accelerate, which we are trying to do, and we will have a meeting with the Revenue Agency in the coming days.”
