Marcos Cafù, former Rossoneri full-back, in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, reminisced about his years at Milan:
"We lifted many trophies, but the most beautiful thing I take away from those years is the friendship with those guys. Every time we see each other again, it's an emotional experience. We are still a family."
Cafù on Carlo Ancelotti:
"Ancelotti? It was a pleasure to be coached by him: he's an exceptional coach who was fundamental to many of Milan's triumphs. He always knew what to say in the locker room to convey calm before an important match."
Cafù added:
"It doesn't surprise me that he's still winning: as a coach, he's the best in the world, but above all, he's a great person. My fellow Brazilians Vinicius, Rodrigo, and Endrick are lucky to have him in Madrid."
