Lina Souloukou has resigned from her job as AS Roma's CEO. The Greek executive was the centre of much criticism from the fans, especially after the dismissal of ex coach Daniele De Rossi. The Friedkins, therefore, are now looking for a potential replacement after she has stepped down.
According to the latest information shared by those at Gazzetta dello Sport, it seems that the former Milan legendary midfielder and executive, Zvonimir Boban, is one of the names being considered to take over in the CEO role.
The Croatian worked for Milan between 2019 and 2021 as Chief Football Officer. He had also worked as FIFA secretary before that from 2016 up until 2019. After the Milan experience, however, Boban worked as director of professional football in the UEFA, from 2021 until January 2024.
