The Portuguese full-back of Napoli, Mario Rui, has requested the intervention of 'Assocalciatori' (AIC; Italian Footballer's Association) to return to training with the rest of the group. Bound to the Napoli club by two more years of contract, the former Roma player, who does not fit into Conte's plans after rejecting several destinations between August and September, has found himself training alone in Castel Volturno.
For several days, the 33-year-old left-back has been training alone, which is why he has sought the intervention of the AIC: his request is to return to group training.
As reported by 'IlMattino.it', Napoli, for its part, does not seem willing to change its position. The player was already informed in the summer that he was not part of the project, and the decision to exclude him from Conte's working group came simultaneously with the many offers rejected by the Portuguese. Mario Rui can train in Castel Volturno, but not at the same times as the other players.
