Massimo Ambrosini, in the post-match commentary of Milan - Lecce on DAZN, shared his thoughts on the Rossoneri's decisive victory.
Here are the statements of the former AC Milan midfielder:
Those five decisive minutes, was it the Rossoneri's merit or Lecce's blackout?
"Both. It was unlocked by a set-piece play, then the two strongest players Milan has got into gear to create a goal that seemed simple but was difficult to execute. Then, the third goal came from a ball carelessly lost by Lecce, and Milan's quality did the rest."
Ambrosini added:
"It looks like a group that is growing, which was criticised in the early games. The first half was normal, a bit slow-paced. Then, the quality level was objectively different."
