Lecce coach Luca Gotti spoke to Sky Sport Italia after the 3-0 loss against AC Milan:
"We played a very good 38 minutes; it was the game that Lecce was trying to play here at San Siro. We tried to build, to play combinations, to think things through. The first fault was a non-existent free kick, where it’s unclear what Dorgu did. We didn’t concede anything and then allowed a goal on this incident. Then, the foul on Dorgu that wasn’t whistled, from which the second goal originated. And then, it makes sense, a team with more games than us. Milan smelled blood on the third goal and stepped on the accelerator; those were 4 minutes that cost us the game."
Regarding the many shots on goal but few goals... Lecce's coach replied:
"So far, this has certainly been the problem."
Could this week leave a negative mark for Lecce? Gotti answered:
"We already paid the price tonight... But we need to shake it off quickly, even though for a good part of the game we managed to do that."
