As pointed out by Il Corriere della Sera this morning, Alvaro Morata has taken Milan by storm with his goals (scoring against Torino and Lecce), but especially through actions and gestures that speak louder than words.

One such gesture was certainly the embrace with Paulo Fonseca, who was at serious risk of being sacked, after Gabbia's goal in the derby.
In recent years, Morata has faced a lot of criticism that has undoubtedly hurt him, but it has also helped him grow and mature. He is now stronger than everything, including the social media criticisms that, until a few years ago, were, by his own admission, his main adversary. Some believed that personal issues, like his separation from his wife, could affect him, but that hasn't been the case.

Morata's maturity
At nearly 32 years of age, the Spaniard has reached maturity, not just as a player but also as a man: his choice to shave his head as a sign of solidarity with children suffering from cancer is certainly a gesture of a true champion.

After leading Spain to Euro Cup 2024 glory, he now leads Milan too
Besides his technical skills, Álvaro was signed by the Rossoneri for his personality and leadership. The seven-time Champions League winners needed a point of reference in Fonseca's squad, and the former Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, Chelsea and Juventus star is just that.
