Former legendary AC Milan attacking midfielder and also ex executive, Zvonimir Boban, spoke to Sky Sport Italia after the Paulo Fonseca's team loss against Bayer Leverkusen 1-0.

Here are his comments about the result:
"For an hour, Milan only defended and played very little. After conceding the goal, they played a good match, freed themselves, gained courage, and created problems for a Bayer team that was tired. It's not all rosy; for an hour, Milan was dominated, and then for half an hour, Milan dominated. It was a strange game; I don't think it's fair to call it phenomenal, especially since you lost. It wasn't bad luck; for an hour, Milan didn’t play football."
Boban also said:
"In my opinion, it was a foul. Loftus controls the ball with the outside of his foot. The contact isn’t strong, but it's there. We’ve seen penalties given with less intensity than this."
He continued:
"When the referee doesn’t feel it’s a penalty, VAR rarely intervenes. But in my opinion, there was a foul, and it could certainly have been given."
