Claudio Lotito, owner and President of Lazio, spoke to Il Messaggero regarding the investigation affecting the organised supporter groups of Milan and Inter.
Here are his words:
"I don't want to act like a hero, especially at this moment, but I was the first to take a very clear stance. I made a choice between popularity and legality, and I chose legality. I had already said everything to the anti-mafia commission, and now, for days, they've been praising me in the courtroom for everything I’ve done and because I was never afraid."
Lotito continued:
"Have you seen what's happening? And I’m convinced that more will come out. There are other investigations underway, not only in Milan... Even today, they attack me from all sides, but I fight. If you compromise, you're dead."
