In a calendar like this year's, there is little time to think or rest; after the commitment in the Champions League in Leverkusen, Milan will be back on the field on Sunday in Florence as they will face La Viola.
This will be the last match before a new international break, which, however, will involve many of the players in the Rossoneri squad.
Against Fiorentina, there will likely be the chance, barring last-minute surprises, to see Álvaro Morata in the starting lineup. The Spaniard had started from the bench in Leverkusen due to a problem related to bursitis.
However, today Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Portuguese head coach will most likely field him as a starter. The headline reads:
"Here’s Morata again, more '10' than '9"
And against Fiorentina, he knows how to hurt, writes the newspaper. The player's physical condition, however, must be monitored still. His right leg is better after sitting on the bench in Leverkusen.
Two goals in the last two matches in Florence. Tactically, Morata is showing himself more as a trequartista/second striker than as a reference center forward: playing alongside Abraham benefits both.
