Today, Il Corriere dello Sport reports that AC Milan is looking to reinforce the midfield department in view of the winter transfer market window. In fact, with Ismael Bennacer's injury, the starting midfielders are almost always Youssouf Fofana and Tijjani Reijnders. More alternatives are needed.

Johnny Cardoso is on AC Milan's radar
For this reason, according to 'CorSport', Milan has re-established contact with the agents of Johnny Cardoso, an American of Brazilian descent, born in 2001, currently with Betis.
He had already been linked to the Rossoneri last summer, particularly if the club had not been able to secure Fofana.
Possessing an Italian passport, Cardoso could be signed without any issues by Milan, despite the fact that the Rossoneri have exhausted their slots for non-EU players.
The daily newspaper has emphasized that Cardoso's price is around 20 million euros. The Rossoneri club management, however, would start with an offer around 15 million euros, using the same tactics employed during negotiations in the last summer transfer market.
