The situation regarding Theo Hernandez's contract renewal is more complicated than expected.
During the press conference introducing Youssouf Fofana just over a month ago, Zlatan Ibrahimovic reassured everyone by saying that both the club and the player knew what they wanted.
Now, however, it seems there's a sense of urgency, especially since the Marseille-born player's contract expires in 2026, and there's a risk of his value dropping in the next summer transfer window.
His current estimated value is between 45 and 50 million euros, but next summer he could leave for much less if the renewal isn't completed.
