Álvaro Morata, captain of Spain, was a guest on Herrera's program this Thursday on COPE. He lifted the lid over sensible topics, including a depression he went through.
He opened up to journalist Alberto Herrera, also speaking about 'panic attacks' and very difficult situations that ultimately led him to decide to leave Spain and Atlético Madrid to go to Milan.
The program will air in full tomorrow; this is a small preview of the many delicate and important topics, such as mental health, that the AC Milan striker touched upon.
'When you go through really difficult moments, like depression or panic attacks, it doesn’t matter what job you do or what situation you find yourself in life; there’s a person inside you that you have to fight against every day and every night,' Morata said.
