Adriano Galliani spoke directly from the Festival dello Sport to pay tribute to the great Milan team of Fabio Capello, known as "the invincibles," in 1994.
A story from that season:
"A funny story? I remember when I signed Marcel Desailly at a time when I couldn’t spend money, but I went a little crazy and didn’t tell President Berlusconi. Thanks to Marcel's addition, we won both the Champions League and the league. It was a delicate but crucial moment in our journey, and Desailly even scored in the final in Athens (1994 vs Barcelona)."
Will your future be in AC Milan again? Galliani answered:
"Milan and Monza are two great passions, the important thing is to keep going. The idea of acquiring Milan? I handle Monza; Fininvest deals with negotiations in this case."
On Daniel Maldini’s growth
"I am very proud of Daniel, DNA doesn’t lie. He must stay humble and keep working like this."
