Former AC Milan player Demetrio Albertini granted an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport where he spoke about the current state of the Rossoneri, Theo Hernandez, and the Scudetto race.
Here are Albertini's words:
On the current Milan:
"From the outside, it seems like there are some problems, though I don't know if they are real or not. First and foremost, they should address the management issues I've read about, then they could focus on growth and maintaining consistency in their work as a team."
On Theo Hernandez, Albertini said:
"Whether it's right or wrong for him to be captain is something the coach, the team, and the club need to decide. I think it's unusual that some things have happened with him; a captain must set an example and feel the responsibility."
On seeing Milan in the Scudetto race:
"We're still far from the end", says Albertini. "I hope Milan quickly finds continuity and a bit of self-awareness, then we can understand where they'll be by the end of the season. The teams that have shown the most solidity for the Scudetto so far? Inter, Napoli, and Juventus."
