Samuele Ricci, midfielder for Torino and the Italian national team, was interviewed by Rai Sport and spoke about his moment:
"The value of sacrifice within a team, I think, is one of the most important things. As we saw on Thursday against Belgium, matches can get complicated, and it’s not easy for everyone to push through until the end. If you can't win, you might at least draw. That gives us great satisfaction because it shows we have that value. Now we need to focus on working hard and thinking about Israel."
Ricci also spoke about being linked with a move to AC Milan and Manchester City:
"How does it feel to be linked with Milan and Manchester City? It definitely feels great, but I’ve learned a bit about football. When things are going well, you get linked with these clubs, and it’s gratifying because it means the work is right, the path is right."
On his role, Ricci said:
"Do I feel comfortable in this role? I still have a lot to improve on. I’ve played as a defensive midfielder before, but I need to improve my positioning, which makes a big difference. Even with Vanoli, I watch it closely, and he sends me videos."
