After the words of AC Milan president Paolo Scaroni who spoke about the plan to either demolish the San Siro and build a new one or continue with the San Donato project, the response from Pietro Salini, CEO of the company that presented the redevelopment project for San Siro, WeBuild, arrived.
"I'm waiting on San Siro." Said Pietro Salini to Il Corriere della Sera. "We made a proposal that meets the needs of the teams; now the American owners are reflecting on a new stadium. When they realize how long it takes to build a new facility in Italy, our project will be analysed again."
The WeBuild CEO added:
"Having two separate stadiums is madness: it's better to invest in players."
