In the Sky Sport 24 evening show, journalist Alessandro Bonan spoke about Milan on the eve of their Champions League match at San Siro against Club Bruges, focusing in particular on Rafael Leao:
"Talent is something that belongs to one's DNA. That's what talent is, something that exists within you, whether you like it or not. Then there's everything else, which gives you a measure of your infinite professionalism, and that's what players like Gattuso, for example, have shown over time. That is a huge merit—it's the character, the culture in which you grew up.'
Bonan commented about Rafael Leao:
'Many components come into play, such as Leao's childhood or teenage years, for instance, since we're talking about him. But the question arises when you watch Leao run, when you see him play, you're talking about a guy who has talent for playing football. Then, whether he uses that talent to achieve results is one thing. If he doesn’t use it for results, that’s another story, and that's where the problem starts."
