Ahead of kick-off for AC Milan - Club Brugge Champions League match, Paulo Fonseca said these words:

"These are special matches; the Champions League is special," he told Sky sport Italia. "Playing at home is even more special. It’s important to have a good game today, to win, and to continue having this kind of matches throughout the season."
On the expectations from Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao:
"I expect, first and foremost, that the team works together, defends together, and is able to be offensive and utilise the individual qualities of the players. These are difficult matches; we need a concentrated and rigorous performance at all levels," said Fonseca.
On the formation:
"Today we have Pulisic wide on the right and Loftus taking the inside position of Pulisic, close to Reijnders, who in the first phase will be closer to Fofana, while in the second and third phases, he will be closer to Loftus and Morata."
On Francesco Camarda being on the bench... Fonseca commented:
"We'll see. Camarda is a young player we believe in a lot, but we all need to understand that he is really young. We’ll see if we have the chance to let him play; it will be important for him and for all the young players who believe in Milan’s youth sector."
