This morning, as relayed via Milannews.it, a delegation including Mayor Giuseppe Sala, representatives from AC Milan and Inter clubs, and Superintendent Emanuela Carpani met with the new Minister of Culture, Alessandro Giuli.
The meeting was also attended by Minister of Sports Andrea Abodi. On this occasion, a new proposal for the construction of a new San Siro was presented.
In addition, this afternoon, Calcio&Finanza wrote that the restriction on the second tier had been lifted.
For this reason, it was possible to present a new project that essentially returns to the original idea: replacing San Siro with a brand-new design.
The road ahead is still long, however, and Milan is keeping the San Donato option alive, as the process for the Program Agreement is currently underway.
