AC Milan has a plan for Tijjani Reijnders. His father (and also agent), Martin, speaks to Telegraaf, a well-known Dutch newspaper.
He comments on Milan’s proposal to extend his son's contract until 2030, saying the following words:
"It’s truly a grand gesture; only the great clubs do this."
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan has already met with Martin and aims to secure an agreement soon, formalising it, if possible, next July, when a new five-year deal could extend the contract’s expiration not to 2029—as would happen today—but to 2030.

The message is clear: Milan sees Tijjani as one of the best signings of this period (perhaps the best, alongside Pulisic?) and wants to secure him for as long as possible.
The Dutchman has been an indisputable starter for Stefano Pioli and now for Paulo Fonseca. He’s a class player, possibly the most elegant in the league, and at 26, he still has room to improve—scoring more (a Champions League brace against Brugge…) and refining his defensive reads.
Tijjani Reijnders shares this admiration and interest: he wants to grow with Milan, says his father.
"Tijjani feels at home in the club and the city. He’s moved by Milan’s appreciation for him."
His brother Eliano confirms: "Just look at the smile with which he plays. He gives everything but manages to enjoy himself. The team likes Tijjani a lot, and they’ve taken care of him since the start. This has been important."
A very close-knit family, which Tijjani expanded in February with the birth of Xavien, captured just two days ago between his mom and dad in their Halloween photo: the Power Reijnders.
