Matteo Gabbia gave an interview to the microphones of SportMediaset on the sidelines of the event organised by the club at the Flagship Store on Via Dante for the inauguration of the "125 Years of Milan" open-air photo exhibition.
Here are his words:

"I had this injury that unfortunately kept me off the field for a while. I tried to work and make the most of this time to grow, improve, and recover from the injury. I'm almost ready to return to the team, so from that perspective, I'm happy."
He added:
"My goal and the staff's is to be as ready as possible for the match against Juventus. Then, of course, it will be the coach's decision on who will play. Problem with goals conceded? As I often say, when there are games where we suffer a bit more, I think the responsibility is always with the team as a whole, not the individual player, but with the overall team work in defense."
Gabbia concluded:
"I'm sure that during this break we will try to work in the best way to limit these mistakes, these defensive concessions that really annoy us." This was relayed via MilanPress.
