Nino Marcelli, who scored a beautiful goal against AC Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday while playing for Slovan Bratislava, was followed by the Rossoneri club in recent months, and an official negotiation was even initiated with the Slovaks. No agreement, however, was reached.
His agent, Juraj Venglos, interviewed by gianlucadimarzio.com, had this to say:
"I won’t mention the figures, but there was interest, meetings. Perhaps it was too soon, and there was no agreement between the clubs."
On Nino Marcelli and Milan's interest, the agent said:
"He is young, one of the best talents in Slovakia, but at Slovan, he can play regularly to be ready for the big leap. He prefers to do it this way. A rekindled interest after the goal in the Champions League? I won’t say anything... (laughs) You should ask Milan about that..."
