Regarding Milan's transfer market, today's edition of Tuttosport wrote about Nino Marcelli and the Rossoneri's interest.
The 19-year-old left-winger who scored a stunning goal late in the Champions League match between Slovan Bratislava and Milan on Tuesday, had caught the attention of the Rossoneri scouts several months ago.
Positive reports led to an official mission by Jovan Kirovski to bring him to Milanello, with the plan being to include him in the Milan Futuro squad and monitor his development.
As Ivan Kmotrík Jr., CEO of the Slovakian club, explained in recent days, the deal fell through because the two clubs could not reach an agreement:
"Official negotiations were underway with Milan, but no agreement was reached. Our requirements differed from their ideas. We disagreed on the terms."
The head scout of Slovan Bratislava also confirmed the negotiations:
"Kirovski came personally for Marcelli. The offer included a fixed amount with many bonuses tied to matches played. The total was the sum we wanted, but we wanted something upfront and the rest later."
Will Milan try again to sign Nino Marcelli?
It is not excluded that the Rossoneri club will make a new attempt in the near future to sign him. After the player's great goal against Mike Maignan in the Champions League, it may be very likely that he will remain on their shortlist.
