In the usual episode of 'Viva El Football', Antonio Cassano, one of the hosts alongside Daniele Adani and Nicola Ventola, spoke about Charles De Ketelaere.
The Atalanta forward was the standout player in the team's emphatic Champions League victory against Young Boys, scoring two goals and providing three assists. The former Milan number 99 praised Gian Piero Gasperini's work, discussed Paolo Maldini, and, as usual, criticised Rafael Leao.
What did Cassano say?
"There was a guy who was mocked by all of Italy, and Paolo Maldini was harassed because he shouldn't have brought him to Milan: De Ketelaere. He scored 2 goals and made three assists. He was decisive in 5 goal-scoring situations."
Cassano continued to praise Charles De Ketelaere:
"He’s a phenomenon, enhanced by Gasperini. The Italian press should start talking about Atalanta, which is our reference point in Italy and the world, and its players, instead of Leao, who plays one lousy match, then another, and yet another. He’s a much better rapper than a footballer."
