Present in the SkySport24 studios, Alessandro Bonan spoke about tonight's Atalanta-Milan match:
"It's an important game. For Milan, it could mark a historic turning point with a lowercase 'h,' while for Atalanta, it could be a Historic turning point with a capital 'H.' Milan needs to find some consistency, as they have so far alternated between positive performances and subpar ones. It's a clash between two very different coaches: Atalanta has found great balance, whereas Milan has not yet. The Nerazzurri team has been very well constructed, and several players have improved significantly under Gasperini."
On AC Milan's boss, Paulo Fonseca, Bonan said:
"Fonseca's work? It's true that time is needed, but now we're in December, so time has been given. Fonseca has shown himself to be very resolute, which might be his most important quality. He's made bold decisions, like leaving out Leao, and now he's reaping the rewards. The introduction of Musah has brought greater balance to Milan.
Bonan continued:
"Retegui on the bench? For me, it changes little for Atalanta. De Ketelaere? At Milan, he initially showed he could be an important player, but he paid the price for his youth and perhaps needed more time to adapt to our football. Last year, he had a good season with Atalanta, and now he's putting up extraordinary numbers."
