It’s Champions League time for Paulo Fonseca’s AC Milan, who, after their league defeat against Atalanta, return to the pitch against Red Star Belgrade for the sixth matchday of the group stage in Europe’s premier club competition.
The Rossoneri coach will have to do without Bennacer, Florenzi, Jovic, Okafor, and most notably Pulisic, who sustained a calf injury on Friday in Bergamo.f

The big question in recent days has been about who would replace the American in the attacking midfield role. Fonseca himself announced the decision in a press conference: Loftus-Cheek will take Pulisic's place. Another change comes in defense, where Calabria will start as right-back instead of Emerson Royal.
The only remaining doubt is in attack, where Chukwueze and Musah are vying for the starting spot on the right wing, with the American currently favored. The rest of the lineup will mirror the one that started against Atalanta: Maignan in goal, Theo Hernandez as left-back, Gabbia and Thiaw in central defense, Fofana and Reijnders in midfield, with Leao on the left and Morata as the center-forward.
Milan's possible lineup:
Maignan; Calabria, Gabbia, Thiaw; Theo; Fofana, Rejnders; Musah, Loftus-Cheek, Leaa; Morata.
