Fonseca's therapy: will it work on Theo Hernandez like how it did with Rafael Leao?
This is the question everyone at Milan is asking, starting with the Rossoneri coach, who hopes to see the French full-back flourish again, just as Rafael Leao has in recent weeks. The Portuguese forward has transformed into a different player compared to a short time ago.

Theo Hernandez on the Milan bench again?
This morning, Tuttosport reported that Paulo Fonseca's objective is to motivate Theo Hernandez through a series of benchings to provoke a strong reaction. However, this strategy can be a double-edged sword, as not all players respond in the same way.
On Friday in Verona, the French full-back is expected to start on the bench again, leaving room for the young Alex Jimenez, who performed well a few days ago against Genoa.
How will Theo react to being benched twice in a row? Will he respond positively, as Leao did in the past?
More will be revealed in the coming days, but it seems Theo accepted his first benching. At least, this is what emerged from the words of his agent, Manuel Quilon, after Monday's meeting with Milan's CEO Giorgio Furlani at Casa Milan:
"The coach's decision must be respected, and players need to accept it. Even Leao was benched this year."
Now it’s up to Theo to prove that he wants to reclaim his starting spot.
