The Quotidiano Sportivo newspaper, in this morning's print edition, published the following headline about the Milan team of Paulo Fonseca, and more particularly, about the left-back position.
"Jimenez improving, Theo to be revitalised. Fonseca at a crossroads."
The young Spaniard has been one of the best performers in the last two matches against Genoa and Verona, while the Frenchman is still searching for his best form.
Against AS Roma, however, both could play due to the numerous absences up front, with Leao and Okafor sidelined.
With Theo back as a starting fullback, Jimenez could also be deployed from the first minute, a few meters higher up the pitch as a left winger.
So far, the former Real Madrid full-back has made two appearances in Serie A. He played the full 90 minutes in each match.
