Lele Adani, former player and now pundit, commented on Gerry Cardinale's words about Inter.
"If you want to talk about finance related to sports, you shouldn’t mention the other team in the city, because it's clear they will then respond by pointing out everything they've won in recent years, including the Champions League final or the players they signed for free and turned into valuable assets."

On AC Milan owner, Gerry Cardinale, Adani also said:
"There can’t be a sporting vision if you bring up the other city team, especially one that is currently winning. If you have a clear entrepreneurial vision, you should never show frustration, but these words reveal exactly that. Cardinale should have focused solely on his own team and convinced the fans that he is doing a good job."
