Franco Ordine, a journalist who often covers the AC Milan news, wrote an article for Il Giornale, analysing the words of Sergio Conceicao ahead of the Rossoneri's match against Cagliari.
"A couple of times the club has already asked me to talk about the market, but I told them I didn’t have time. After Cagliari, we will do it. Rashford? Just one name among many." This was Conceicao's statement yesterday.
And Ordine comments:
"It seems like a trivial intervention, but it is exactly the opposite of what happened with Fonseca, who declared the Milan transfer market closed in the summer, only for Ibra to correct him a few hours later: 'The market is closed when I say it is!'"
Then Ordine shifts to Milan-Cagliari:
"And to understand if this the Rossoneri's mindset has truly changed, tonight there is Cagliari, the team that not only disrupted the result (3-3) but also the mood of the group just back from Madrid with their historic Champions League victory."
