According to Corriere dello Sport, two major Serie A clubs have targeted Sartori (who built the Chievo Verona phenomenon, laid the foundations for Atalanta's miracle, and brought Bologna to the Champions League after 60 years) as they plan for the 2025-2026 season.
Milan and Roma are closely monitoring the situation regarding Sartori's contract.
There have already been some direct contacts, mainly to explore the possibility of an agreement. According to the Roman newspaper, Sartori listens to offers with pride.
Roma appeals to him due to the Friedkin family's strong investment potential and the chance to be part of a multi-year revival plan alongside Claudio Ranieri.
Both Milan and Roma, managed by different American ownerships, have changed coaches during the season and are currently in a delicate transitional phase. Someone capable of spotting global talent at affordable prices is needed for the technical director position. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is reportedly leaning for an Italian candidate for such a role, and same could be said about Roma's manager, Ranieri.
