Today, Corriere dello Sport highlighted how the controversies surrounding the postponement of Bologna - Milan continue to be a topic of debate.

In fact, it is noted that the Rossoneri club feels severely disadvantaged for not being able to play on Saturday at the 'Dall’Ara' stadium, and President Paolo Scaroni has not held back.
Yesterday, at Milan's Shareholders' Assembly to approve the balance sheet as of June 30, 2024, President Scaroni returned to the topic. The Rossoneri's top executive reiterated his frustration with the decision by Bologna's Mayor, Matteo Lepore, to issue an emergency weather ordinance that effectively prevented the regular holding of the match.
Milan and happy and are considering legal action:
According to the newspaper mentioned above, Scaroni has now gone on the offensive. "I am furious because an incomprehensible, unjust, and ungrounded decision was made by the Mayor of Bologna," he said. "Not so much for the closing of the stadium due to a flood, of course, but for the fact that we were prevented from playing behind closed doors. This decision is incomprehensible, especially considering that other closed-door events were permitted in Bologna. I’m furious, and when I’m furious, I’m active, not passive. I’ll be dedicating myself to this."
Milan is indeed considering legal action. "It was an unfair decision that caused us significant harm. We believe there are ample grounds to challenge the Mayor’s ordinance: we are examining this decision from every angle and do not want to remain passive in the face of the damage caused to us,” stated the Rossoneri club president.
Scaroni continued:
"We are all furious here at Milan; it’s a serious injustice. It’s unclear why we couldn’t play behind closed doors while other events were allowed. This opens up questions about the legitimacy of the decision and the potential for seeking damages."
