In an interview with SportMediaset, Rafael Leao spoke about the recent victory against Como away from home and discussed the conditions of the game:
"The pitch was small, we knew that could be a difficulty we might face against them, as they played well. We had to press them well because they like to play, but in the end, it was the grit, the will, and what we always have: this new coach, Conceiçao, has brought that to us. We played well, but sometimes when you don't play well but give everything until the end, the result comes."
Leao added:
"I think we deserved it, also because of what we did in the first half, as we created two goal-scoring chances. We lacked that sharpness, but in the end, we managed to score, and we're happy, and this win helps us climb the standings."
