The showdown between Juventus and Milan is drawing closer.
The Bianconeri and Rossoneri will face off at 6:00 PM CET today in a match valid for the 21st round of the 2024-25 Serie A season.
Massimo Ambrosini also spoke about this potentially decisive clash for fourth place. The former Rossoneri midfielder primarily focused on Milan's situation. Here are his words to La Gazzetta dello Sport:
"It will be a match between two teams with different footballing philosophies. Juve wants to control possession and reach goals through ball movement; Milan relies on high pressing and regaining possession quickly."

Ambrosini added:
"Milan’s approach to matches so far hasn’t been good: the two first halves in Riyadh, but also against Cagliari and Como… Juve is coming off a good performance in Bergamo, but perhaps to win more matches, they need to take more risks. Having changed their coach and many players over the summer, the minimum goal for both teams was to qualify for the Champions League."
"The two coaches have different ways of understanding football, and now their approach to matches is more energetic: less ball possession and more pressing. Milan has shifted from being sluggish and passive to pressing opponents high up the pitch. Such a tactical revolution takes time, top physical condition, which is currently lacking, and the right mental attitude."
Do they need a striker? Ambrosini replied:
"If I had one move to make, I’d aim for an attacking winger to have an alternative on the right, possibly moving Pulisic to play as a playmaker or second striker. Finding a 20-goal striker now is impossible. I trust Morata will improve his performance."
Would you sell Fikayo Tomori to Juventus?
"I’d keep him."
Ambrosini, who can decide Juventus - Milan?
"Yildiz and Leao."
