AC Milan won 1-0 against Girona at the San Siro. The only goal was scored by Rafael Leao in a beautiful way, after a good assist from Ismael Bennacer. Sergio Conceicao, the Rossoneri head coach, spoke to Amazon Prime Video after the final whistle and said the following:
Milan are now sixth in the standings. Are you proud?
"I'm looking at the standings, and I have to say the boys have done a good job, but it’s not over yet, there’s one match left. We’re in a phase of evolution, and we need to keep working. There are things we’re doing well and many others that aren’t quite there yet. But the most important thing is the result: we created chances, especially in the first half, to score more goals, and they also had opportunities. In the second half, the fear of conceding a goal overtook the desire to score a second one, but that’s normal at this stage."

Is this the Milan you want to see? Conceicao replied:
"The boys gave a lot in terms of spirit. Rafael scored the goal, and I’m asking him to do more, not just with the ball. He accepts that, he’s working hard, and he’s setting an example. A team must think in the same way during different phases of the game."
Kyle Walker is coming. Wouldn’t you like a big center forward?
"If you went back 15 years (talking to Luca Toni who is present there, laughing)."
On Alessandro Nesta’s message: "Study your verbs and have a laugh"...
"He’s a great guy (laughs)."
