Matteo Moretto, speaking on Fabrizio Romano's YouTube channel, discussed Milan's interest in Samuele Ricci, the Torino midfielder who has been frequently linked to the Rossoneri in recent weeks for next season:
"Ricci will be Milan's number one target to strengthen the midfield in the summer. The operation has already been set up; negotiations still need to be finalized, but the Rossoneri's intention is to push forward all the way to securing the Torino player's signature."

According to some reports, the club already made an attempt to sign Ricci in the winter transfer window, but Torino firmly resisted and never entertained the idea of selling their prized asset midway through the season.
