Giuseppe Riso, a well-known agent who represents, among others, Riccardo Sottil, commented to Repubblica on the Italian winger’s move from Fiorentina to Milan on loan with an option to buy:
"Sottil to Milan was the most difficult deal. Seeing him in the Rossoneri shirt was a great satisfaction. It was tough, but we got it done."
The agent then revealed Milan's interest in another of his clients, Tommaso Baldanzi of Roma, a 21-year-old midfielder:
"Honestly, I tried to get him to leave. Fiorentina and Milan were interested, but Roma opposed it. They say he will become one of their starters."
Regarding former Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali, Riso stated:
"Sandro is one of the best midfielders in the world. At this point, his value is such that Italian clubs will hardly be able to afford him. I see his career continuing far from Serie A."
