AC Milan's midfielder, Tijjani Reijnders, spoke to France Football in an exclusive interview about his growth in recent seasons:

"I had a kind of turning point. I am much more decisive than before. Before, I was in too much of a hurry, so I worked on that aspect. I did a lot of shooting exercises, and with my father and my brother, we watched my matches to analyze my behavior in front of goal. Today, I am much more present on the field and, above all, I have gained more composure."

He added:

"When I reach the attacking zone, I know what to do. I scored my first two goals, gained confidence, and everything changed. My statistics have put me in the spotlight, but this is a positive thing: it means I’m playing well! But it doesn’t put any extra pressure on me. Every time I step onto the field, I smile because I’m so happy to play. I have fun because, so far, I haven’t had the slightest injury."

Reijnders continued:

"My biggest goal is to win as many trophies as possible. Because if I play football, it’s to write my name in the history books. I hope this is possible with Milan, with whom I will soon extend my contract. Being a Ballon d'Or candidate one day is a dream, of course, because it means a lot. Everything will depend on my performances and the trophies I win. If I continue to work hard to be the best player I can be in every match, to work hard for the team, and to be decisive, it will be easy to be nominated."
