"Well, we all want to do our best to make him feel comfortable. The new arrivals as well—we're helping each other, including Gimenez. We are ready."
On his own performance, the former AZ Alkmaar player said:
"I want to keep doing well, just like the whole team. I feel the trust of the coach and the fans, but I’m not thinking about that now. I'm only focused on tomorrow night's match."
Would you be ready to change your role on the field if necessary?
"Of course. The balance within our team is new but important. For me, the key is to approach every match with the right attitude. The good of the team comes first—I just focus on playing well and staying in shape."
On his relationship with his father, Reijnders said:
