A bitter evening for Milan, defeated 1-0 in the first leg of the Champions League playoffs at Feyenoord's home, following a very disappointing performance.
Consequently, it was also a rough night for coach Sergio Conceição, who was unhappy with the timing of the post-match interviews and left the press conference irritated after answering just one question.
Before walking out, Sergio Conceição stated: "I waited 15 minutes outside to speak (while Feyenoord’s full-back was speaking), now I get 30 seconds, so that’s enough."
What was Sergio Conceicao asked in the press conference after the loss against Feyenoord?
Question: We expected something else...
Answer: "We knew what the atmosphere was like, how aggressive they were, we knew it. Matches definitely become easier if you win duels. We entered the match with a chance for Reijnders, then we conceded a goal... well, things happen. It wasn't a lucky match. We should have done more. We had the chances to at least equalise. But that's enough now: I waited 15 minutes to speak and now I'm leaving."
