In his in-depth analysis for Gazzetta.it, journalist Luca Bianchin expressed his views on Milan’s managerial decisions as follows:
"Milan returned from Bologna to Milanello by bus during the night—spending the night at the training center to be ready for Friday’s session. On Sunday evening, Lazio-Milan will take place, meaning we are already in the pre-match buildup."

Bianchin continued to talk about Milan's team:
"Everything feels vaguely paradoxical: a team that looks disjointed on the pitch, with eleven players who almost never fight together, forced to spend 48 consecutive hours living as a group. On that bus, they must have talked about the Bologna match, the season, the future—and each of them, in their own mind, must have had an answer, an analysis, a list of problems."
"The final major issue—because it projects into the future. The most important one, because all other decisions depend on those made at the top. The Rossoneri club currently has a CEO who makes key decisions, including in the transfer market (Giorgio Furlani), a technical director who selects players and spends a few days a week at the club's training centre (Geoffrey Moncada), an ownership advisor who intervenes in everything (player relations, transfers, the Under-23 team) without being formally part of the club’s staff… and, of course, that person is Zlatan Ibrahimović. It hasn’t worked. The club’s structure for next season is still to be defined, and this will be the most crucial decision. The coach will almost certainly change, but what about the rest? Will a sporting director arrive? And if one does, will they have full authority, or will they integrate into the existing working group? Here it is—the first matchday of the 2025-26 season."
