Marco Parolo, former player, commented to DAZN on Milan's chances of finishing in the top four of Serie A after the loss at home to Bologna:
"Now there are few chances, but in football, anything is possible as long as mathematics allows it. However, the probability of qualifying for the Champions League is getting lower. Milan is behind and has several teams ahead of them."

Parolo continued:
"Milan needs to ask themselves some questions. They’ve tried different paths, but none of them worked. The team goes in bursts; it never manages to turn the situations in its favor. Who’s to blame? In these cases, the blame always falls on the top of the pyramid. The responsibility of the club is slightly greater than that of the team and the coach, though they are also to blame."
