This could be the right week for the official offer from Inter and Milan to purchase the San Siro stadium and the surrounding areas.
The announcement comes directly from the mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala, who, on the sidelines of a press conference held at the City Hall of the Lombard capital, expressed his hopeful expectation of receiving an official communication from the two Milanese clubs.
It is worth remembering that the imposed restriction on the second tier is set to expire between October and November, provided that San Siro remains under the ownership of the Municipality of Milan by that time.

Here's what Mayor Sala said about the San Siro stadium issue:
“We hope to receive the offer from Inter and Milan this week as planned. The two clubs are finalizing the documents, and once we receive the financial and economic plan, we will review it. I imagine it will be quite substantial. We will take a few days to examine and analyze it, I will report to the City Council, and then we will see how to proceed. However, this all depends on whether the offer actually arrives. The financial plan is expected to be submitted within these weeks, either this one or the next, in order to meet the deadline of finalizing everything before the holidays.”
"And now, the resolution of guidelines for the formulation of a public tender for the renovation of the Meazza stadium." But the resolution, as reported by Libero newspaper recently, has been postponed.
This is because, when the word "stadium" was uttered in the City Council, and latest session was just yet another repeat, the center-left majority vanished.
And yet, that resolution was initiated by the Greens, but not only them; it was put forward by a faction of Mayor Giuseppe Sala’s majority. The proposal was introduced at the end of January and bears the signatures of six majority councilors, aiming to launch a tender for the renovation of San Siro stadium.
The resolution was signed by Enrico Fedrighini of the mixed group, Carlo Monguzzi from the Greens, and three Democratic Party (PD) councilors— Rosario Panataleo, Angelica Vasile, and Alessandro Giungi— as well as Marco Fumagalli from the Beppe Sala Mayor group.
The goal is to "establish a directive for the Mayor and the City Council to prepare a public tender aimed at developing a project for the renovation of the Meazza stadium and the overall redevelopment of the area, conducting the necessary studies, evaluations, and procedures to define, in line with the tender, the operational tools and necessary processes to achieve these objectives under the public oversight of the Municipality of Milan, while maintaining ownership of the facility and the surrounding areas under the City Administration."
