After yet another misstep this season, which came at San Siro against Lazio on Sunday evening, Sergio Conceicao's Milan is once again called upon to respond—this time (hopefully) with some points and smiles to show for it. Good news could come primarily from the injury front.
In fact, as learned by the Milannews.it editorial team, Alessandro Florenzi could return to group training by the end of the week.
A similar situation applies to the Englishman Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who could be available for Conceicao starting next week. Both players are in the final stages of recovery from their respective injuries, Florenzi from a cruciate ligament and lateral meniscus tear, and Loftus-Cheek from a relapse of his right thigh flexor issue.
